About the Series:
Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
Hands-on exploration of how to organise hybrid learning, using Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Forms, Stream and Sway.

A 2-hour hands-on workshop immersing you into Microsoft Teams and how you can implement the tools available to you. An interactive walkthrough with a highly experienced specialist where the conversation is promoted to assist learning.
Hybrid and blended learning is fast becoming a medium to long-term reality for most schools. This interactive, hands-on session will address the fundamentals of hybrid learning using Microsoft Teams and a range of other Microsoft tools to help facilitate learning and engage students. We will explore best practice, with practical explanations and activities. You will have the chance to try out different approaches and ask questions to develop your own practice around the use of Microsoft Teams and other tools, such as Microsoft Forms, Sway and Stream, for teaching and learning in a hybrid environment.
This is an ideal course if you are a teacher who has been using Microsoft Teams and you are looking at ways to approach hybrid learning.

As these are interactive events, you will be sent individual log-in credentials which will be used to log into Microsoft Teams in an in-private/incognito browser. Here you will find a channel including the meeting for the interactive session.

About your Trainer:
Sam is a former English teacher and head of department, with fifteen years of experience as a teacher and over twenty working in education.
As a senior consultant for Tablet Academy UK, Sam now provides training, consultancy and advice on adoption and best practice for embedding the use of technology for teaching and learning. She also provides training and guidance for non-teaching staff, as well as providing training and adoption support for staff working for local and national government.
Sam can often be found presenting on behalf of Microsoft and is an MIE Expert, MIE Master Trainer and Microsoft Certified Educator.
