How to use Posts and Announcements in Microsoft Teams
26th January 2021 @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm GMT
About the Series:
Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
Ideal for educators new to Microsoft teams, or for educators delivering Remote Learning who may be looking for tips and best practice.
Type of Event: Webinar
A 1-hour Teams Live event with an unlimited number of participants. These events will include presentations and, where appropriate, live demonstrations, followed by 15-20 minutes of Q&A.
Ever wanted to create posts that stand out? Or create a space where only the class teacher can post? Perhaps post the same content into multiple channels? This session you will see how a post can be customised to included a banner, linked to multiple channels (perhaps the same post to several class teams) and moderated.
You will be shown how a teacher can create these effective posts and what that would look for a student. You will also be shown how to moderate your channels to control who can post and where.
This session is intended for educators at any level who want to develop a more structured and controlled way to make announcements and posts with their classes.
