Managing Files in Microsoft Teams
28th January 2021 @ 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm GMT
About the Series:
Microsoft is teaming up with education training specialist Tablet Academy to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.
Managing files for communication and collaboration including version history, class materials, tabs to external files and more.
Type of Event: Webinar:
A 1-hour Teams Live event with an unlimited number of participants. These events will include presentations and, where appropriate, live demonstrations, followed by 15-20 minutes of Q&A.
In this session, we will look at how educators can use the files area within their class teams for students to collaborate on. We will also look at how you can use the class materials folder to host resources that can not be edited by members of the team.
We will also look at how you can generate communication around those files in the channel posts effectively as well as how to link to specific files using the posts and tabs.
Finally, we will look at how version history and tracked changes could save you time and track student contribution within collaborative documents.
This session is intended for any educators who wish to understand how to use files within their Team channel areas.
