About the Series:

Tablet Academy is teaming up with City Hall London and Microsoft to deliver a series of events aimed at supporting school leaders and classroom educators to further embed and benefit from the features provided by Microsoft tools. The focus of these events is to help institutions looking to develop both their in-class delivery and remote programmes.

The events will run as part of the London Curriculum which offers free teaching resources and London Curriculum Lates (evening events for teachers – including webinars) and exciting educational activities for students. For more information about the London Curriculum and how it uses the capital as inspiration to bring the national curriculum to life at key stages 2 and 3, sign up to receive news and updates from City Hall register here

Event Summary:

This webinar will address how to get the most out of the technology available to you when using Microsoft Teams and other freely available tools to facilitate remote (or hybrid) learning. Specifically for secondary aged students.

This is an ideal course for teachers planning to use Microsoft Teams to deliver remote learning, and for educators looking to improve their remote lessons.

This webinar will include a presentation, live demonstrations and Q & A led by a teacher with experience of supporting hundreds of UK schools, therefore ensuring you will learn what best practise looks like, but also how to achieve it in your remote lessons.

The sessions will include:

  • Communicating with students.
  • Setting assignments.
  • Sharing files and worksheets.
  • OneNote Class Notebooks (digital workbooks or portfolios)
  • Marking work and providing feedback.

This Webinar is aimed at secondary school educators and SLT members.
